Mogul Mashers Golf Scramble Saturday, August 13th Roan Valley Golf Course welcomed us with open arms to their course. A Very hot day to play, but we were glad we were in the mountains. Plenty of liquids were availableJ. I appreciate all for coming out and playing at a course that is little further than most but the nice thing we were a smaller group this year so play was faster. We had 16 players. The 19th hole was held at the Sliger’s Watauga Lake Cabin. First place went to Jo and Judy Blackburn, (each got $20) second Place went to Mark Mabry and Rookie Sliger, (each got $15) Last place went to Mark Dison and Jim Maerder. Each golfer got to go to the “table” to select their prize for their “winnings”. Longest Drive for men went to David Sliger, Longest Drive was new comer Shari Andrew’s, closest to the pin, #4 was Judy Blackburn and #11 went to Stan Mosley.
