Dear
ETMM,
My first official act as president was to attend the crescent spring
conference in Myrtle Beach at the Kingston Plantation. I was joined by 14 other
ETMM's and 185 other Crescent members plus the tour and mountain
representatives. The weather was beautiful through Saturday evening. ETMM
members did well in golf and won mini golf, tug of war, men's beach run, bocce
ball, and our new national sport-corn hole! We brought home 2nd place in the
beach Olympics! With increased participation points next year, we can contend
for the trophy. The Friday night Trade Show and DJ party was a great time to
meet and mingle with the folks who actually take care of us at the mountain
resorts. They are friendly people who truly want us to have the best time on our
trips. The Saturday Mardi Gras Party was spectacular and came complete with New
Orleans Jazz Band. The wind and rain chased us off the beach Sunday morning,
which was the only good reason to want to leave. A great Spring Convention and
beach weekend was had by all!
